Rajinikanth To Be Conferred With Dadasaheb Phalke Award

Megastar Rajinikanth has won millions of hearts in the past 4-5 decades. People love not only his acting talent but also the humility and kindness he possesses. From celebrities to politicians to athletes, people of all field admire him. All the fans can now rejoice as the veteran actor will now be honoured with the Dadasahed Phalke honour. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the Thalaiva on his Twitter page.

Recently, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar shared that the veteran actor will be given the Dadasaheb Phalke honour. Since then, social media, especially Twitter is full of congratulatory messages for the megastar. From Bollywood celebs to South stars, everyone has shared their best wishes to the Robot actor.

PM Narendra Modi tweeted, “Popular across generations, a body of work few can boast of, diverse roles and an endearing personality…that’s Shri @rajinikanth Ji for you. It is a matter of immense joy that Thalaiva has been conferred with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Congratulations to him.”

South superstar Mahesh Babu wrote, “Congratulations @rajinikanth sir on being awarded the #DadasahebPhalkeAward!! Your contribution to cinema is unparalleled! Truly an inspiration”.

Actor Chiranjeevi also congratulated the Thalaiva and tweeted, “Elated at the announcement of the prestigious #DadaSahebPhalke Award to my dear friend @rajinikanth Truly deserving. Your contributions to the film industry are immense, my friend! Hearty congratulations! May the force be with you!!”

Bollywood Producer Boney Kapoor shared, “Congratulations @Rajinikanth Garu on being honoured with prestigious #DadasahebPhalkeAward for 2019. You truly deserved it.”

The Vice President of India, Shri M Venkaiah Naidu, wrote, “Hearty congratulations to Shri @rajinikanth on being conferred the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Over the past many years, the versatile actor has been enthralling people by portraying a vast array of roles depicting myriad hues of human experience and emotions. #Rajinikanth”.

Director Raghava Lawrence tweeted, “I’m extremely happy to hear that Thalaivar superstar is receiving the prestigious #DadaSahebPhalke award. I don’t have the age to praise him. May his greatness live on forever! Guruve saranam

Venkatesh Daggubati tweeted, “My hearty congratulations to the Thalaiva shri @rajinikanth gaaru for being conferred the 51st Dadasaheb Palke Award!”

Meanwhile, Prakash Javadekar shared that the veteran actor is honoured with the 51st Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his contribution to the Indian cinema as an actor, producer and screenwriter. He called the megastar iconic and revealed that the jury who came to this decision are Asha Bhosle, Subhash Ghai, Mohanlal, Biswajeet Chatterjee and Shankar Mahadevan. The veteran actor is yet to respond to receiving such a prestigious honour.

On the work front, the megastar will be next seen in the film Annaatthe. Directed by Siva, the film also stars Meena, Khushbu, Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Jagapati Bapu and Prakash Raj. The film is expected to release on November 4, 2021.
