Pieces of Her Season 2: Has Netflix Renewed the Thriller Series?

Pieces of Her Season 2 has been on everyone’s mind since the eighth episode of the first season wrapped up. A lot of questions remain unanswered and, well, certain twists and turns do not deserve the kind of opening ending the OTT giant is keen on offering us. Being a book to series adaptation that is not a limited series, there is a lot of scoop for the show to have a season two.

Created by Charlotte Stoudt, Pieces of Her is directed by Minkie Spiro. Charlotte Stoudt and Minkie Spiro also serve as the executive producers of the show along with Bruna Papandrea and Lesli Linka Glatter. It is produced by Made Up Stories and Endeavor Content. The thriller is based on the acclaimed Karen Slaughter novel by the same name. The cast stars Toni Collette as Laura Oliver and Bella Heathcote as Andy Oliver, the mother-daughter headliners of the show. It also includes David Wenham as Jasper Queller, Jessica Barden as Jane, Joe Dempsie as Nick, Jacob Scipio as Michael Vargas and Omari Hardwick as Gordon Oliver.

Will there be Pieces of Her Season 2?

The ending of Pieces of Her left us all stunned. Just when we thought that the mysteries are all over, we were left with one of the biggest revelations of all time. The big exposition that it was after all Jane aka Laura Oliver who killed Martin Queller, her father on that one fateful night in Oslo that changed her and, the people around her’s lives forever. We discover her falling out with her brother Jasper before she went rogue and hired the hit-woman to finish off her father.

But, this secret has not just been revealed to Andy but also, Jasper, who now knows that the real culprit is Jane/Laura and not the one they have long speculated to be. This opens room for a lot of things to attain closure with a season 2. However, Netflix has not officially greenlit the show yet, which is only natural as the streaming giant takes over a week to two months to finalize if a show is getting a return season.
