Hulu is all set to bring us the most scandalous incident in television history in form of a miniseries titled Pam and Tommy. Directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Robert D. Siegel, the series will closely cover the life and marriage between Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee. However, before the series hits our screens, let us pull up our socks and charge our brains to know everything there is to know about the show.

Hulu’s description for the show reads: “Set in the Wild West early days of the Internet, “Pam & Tommy” is based on the incredible true story of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee sex tape. Stolen from the couple’s home by a disgruntled contractor, the video went from underground bootleg-VHS curiosity to full-blown global sensation when it hit the Web in 1997. A love story, crime caper and cautionary tale rolled into one, the eight-part original limited series explores the intersection of privacy, technology and celebrity, tracing the origins of our current reality TV Era to a stolen tape seen by millions but meant to have an audience of just two.”

The show features Lily James as the Baywatch star Pamela Anderson. The Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee is portrayed by Marvel’s Winter Soldier Sebastian Stan. Meanwhile, it is Freaks and Geeks’ Seth Rogen who will play Rand Gauthier.

The show is eight-episode long. It is scheduled to release on Hulu for the USA audience and through Disney+ for the international audience on February 2, 2022. The first three episodes of the show will air on the same day, followed by weekly releases.
