Pam and Tommy Episode 7: “Destroyer of Worlds”
Pam and Tommy Episode 7 is directed by Lake Bell, with D.V. DeVincentis serving as the writer for the episode. Episode 7 brings forward the inherent patriarchy in the world. We know and, we now witness how the Lee-Anderson case against Penthouse was thrown out of the window based on Pamela Anderson being a person who was brave enough to pose for Playboy and, has spent most of her acting career running in a bathing suit. The episode just shows how the actress was slut shamed for her career choices.
Adding salt to the wound, the trauma does not stop for Pam as she is invasively questioned during the premiere of Barbed Wire. We see Jay Leno making a cameo where he insultingly confronts her about the sex tape live on the Tonight Show, a reality that still exists to date on YouTube. We go through Pam’s painful silence and, hear her speak even though this episode delivers her with less dialogue. Additionally, we see Pamela also come face to face with what people think of her as an actress in the most heartbreaking way possible.
Apart from Pam, Rand and Tommy take a front seat together in Pam and Tommy Episode 7 as we see Butchie come at Rand for his money and torture him, which leads Rand to obtain the money from Tommy. We also finally get to see the “good side” of Tommy as in his confrontation with Rand, we find out that he sympathizes with Pamela’s ruined career. In a hot turn of events, Rand is thrown out of the house by Erica, leading him on a darker path than expected.

Pam and Tommy Episode 7: Final Thoughts
The second last episode of Pam and Tommy was not a joy ride to be on. The series has truly shown us the male-centric world where a woman is used and constantly put under the light no matter what. In Rand’s revenge against Tommy, Pamela suffered and, in her fight to win back her respect, she was judged for her lifestyle and career choices.
