Pam and Tommy Episode 5 Promo: Lovers’ Tiff or a Storm to End It All?

Pam and Tommy Episode 5 might not be a sweet ride it seems. After the troubles that soured the couple in episode 4, we might see the storm raging on. As the sex tape gets circulated more and more, will it mark the end of the relationship between Pamela and Tommy?

Directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Robert D. Siegel, the show is based on the article Pam and Tommy: The Untold Story of the World’s Most Infamous Sex Tape by Amanda Chicago Lewis (first published in Rolling Stone in 2014). It is about the life and marriage between actress Pamela Anderson and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee and, the release of the duo’s unauthorized sex tape. The cast features Lily James as Pamela Anderson, Sebastian Stan as Tommy Lee, Seth Rogen as Rand Gauthier, Nick Offerman as Uncle Miltie and, Taylor Schilling as Erica Gauthier.

What will happen in Pam and Tommy Episode 5?

The promo for the upcoming episode starts with Lily James’ Pamela Anderson chanting, “Everything’s going to be okay. The tape is going to go away”. Leaving the present audience with the question, will it ever really?

We see Pamela’s publicist approach her, asking her if there has been anything written about the tape yet. We see Anderson shrug off the question as she is not ready to pursue publicizing the tape. However, when it is on the internet you really have no control over the virality of an item. Soon enough we see everyone talking about the tape from newspapers to talk shows, leaving our duo humiliated and shocked.

We see the couple’s life falling apart. Pamela questions Tommy’s intentions of recording the tape. And, Tommy is humiliated by his friends and, mistrusted by his wife pulling him in a dark place. But, does that mean this is where it all ends?
