Pam and Tommy Episode 4: “The Master Beta”

The fourth episode of Pam and Tommy is directed by Lake Bell and written by Matthew Bass & Theodore Bressman. It is finally time for the critical reveal when Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson discover that their safe that consists their sex-tape is not only missing but, also is getting circulated through the help of the internet. This comes to light when Pamela finds out that her Baywatch crewmen have been viewing the video at the sets of the show. Taken aback and, completely shocked the couple seeks out for help.

In this situation, Rand Gauthier’s position is compromised as Tommy discovers the truth behind who is responsible for the video. Meanwhile, Rand is also confronted with the truth of bootlegs being sold without his involvement and, notice. Along with Gauthier, Miltie’s identity is also revealed. Trying to seek refuge, one of our culprits escapes to Europe, whereas the other one goes into hiding at his ex-wife’s house.

This episode of Pam and Tommy deeply reflects on the gender dynamics at play in the world. We have Anderson devasted by the spread of the video, which gets invalidated by Tommy constantly. It is not because of Anderson’s “big career” but, because of her gender due to which she would get objectified in the video.
