Selena Gomez, Martin Short, Steve Martin Announce Only Murders in the Building Season 2 In a Fun Video, Watch

It’s time for fans to celebrate as Only Murders in the Building Season 2 is heading back to our screens. After the brilliant success of season one that honestly no one saw coming, fans have been waiting in anticipation for the arrival of the second season, which has finally been announced in a fun video that perfectly represents the spirit and essence of the show.

Created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, the first season aired back in 2021. The story follows the lives of three strangers played by Selena Gomez, Martin Short and Steve Martin, who share an obsession with a true-crime podcast. After a suspicious death takes place in their affluent Upper West Side apartment building- Arconia, the three neighbours set on to start their own podcast about the investigation of the mysterious death in the neighbourhood that was ruled as suicide by police.

The first season consisted of ten episodes and, the news of the show’s renewal for a third season came in around September 2021, a month after the show aired. However, it was not until the announcement video surfaced that one knew for sure when the show’s season 2 was slated to release.

Only Murders in the Building Season 2 Announcement Video

In the video, we witness the iconic trio from Only Murders in the Building being awkward, hilarious and offbeat with their comedy. Steve Martin is absolutely hilarious in his approach along with Martin Short, whereas Selena is lovely and endearing. The announcement video reveals that the second season is slated for a summer release.

Only Murders in the Building Season 2 is going to premiere on Hulu on June 28, 2022. The previous episodes are presently streaming on the OTT platform for people to binge.
