New Loki Trailer Shows Tom Hiddleston’s God Of Mischief Is Unworthy Of Trust And It’s Hilarious!

Trust Marvel always to surprise their fandom. Today, MCU dropped the new Loki trailer that shows us more insight into God of Mischief’s life post Avengers: Endgame. Tom Hiddleston has resumed the role of the anti-hero, and the show also stars Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino and Jaimie Alexander.

The trailer is of 2 minutes 12 seconds. Owen Wilson’s Mobius is questioning Tom’s character about how he managed to mess up with the times. If you’ve forgotten, in Endgame, during the 2012 New York time heist, Thor’s brother escapes from the scene with the tesseract. As the God of Mischief from the current timeline is dead, it would be interesting to see how his 2012 version reacts after knowing everything that happened since the New York attack.

After watching the trailer, you will fall in love with Tom Hiddleston more. The actor’s dialogue delivery and comedy timings are to the point in the Loki trailer. One thing that the Loki trailer has confirmed is that he will have a lot of one-liners. While Mobius’ identity is still unknown, his banter with Tom’s character will be one of the highlights of the Disney+ Marvel series.

There are several fight scenes in Loki trailer as well. It reminded me of the recently released new Black Widow trailer. The makers showed us lots of action scenes featuring Scarlett Johansson in it.

The show’s official synopsis reads, “In Marvel Studios’ Loki, the mercurial villain resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Kate Herron directs, and Michael Waldron is head writer. Debuts on Disney+ on June 11, 2021.”

Check out the new Loki trailer –

Kate Herron is the director of the series, which Michael Waldron writes. Actor Sophia Di Martino is expected to play the female version of Loki, and Richard E Grant might play the older version.

Earlier, there were speculations that Tom Hiddleston’s show will have another season. However, Marvel and the director are yet to confirm the same. So only after watching the series, we might know if there will be season 2 or not.

Fans really hope to see Tom’s character in Chris Hemsworth’s Thor: Love and Thunder. Whenever Taika Waititi was asked if Loki will be there in the fourth Thor film or not, he either dodged the question or gave an unrelated answer. Well, MCU being secretive as usual!

Meanwhile, other Phase 4 MCU projects that fans are looking forward to are Black Widow, Shang Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Black Widow is now pushed to a July 2021 release. Shang Chi will hit the screens in September this year and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is expected to release during Christmas this year. So far, the only Phase 4 project that’s fully out is WandaVision starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, which received rave responses. Currently, fans are enjoying Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan’s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
