Netflix’s inaugural global fan event, Netflix Tudum looked much like the Super bowl with trailers, teasers and first looks lining up one after the other. A bunch of exciting news and curious sneak peeks were shared during this event. This was Netflix’s first TUDUM event and was live-streamed for three hours.
Within that time, announcements for about 70 series and 28 movies were made. However, keeping a track of them all might be a hefty task. Thus, here’s a list of the biggest news shared for some world popular shows and films starting from Stranger Things 4, Witcher 2 to Bridgerton 2 and The Sandman. Let’s have a look!
Stranger Things 4 Teaser
Another teaser from the creators of Stranger Things shows us the seemingly perfect “Creel House” overcome with evil, a grown-up Justin quoting the timeless Sherlock Holmes and a mysterious clock that breaks by the end which could indicate the formation of parallel dimensions. The fourth season is due in 2022.
Sex Education Season 4 Confirmed
The third season of Sex Education was all about raging hormones and soft character arc developments. While fans are still recovering from the last season, Netflix has greenlighted Sex Education Season 4!

The period drama Bridgerton which was a drop-hit on Netflix got the confirmation for its second season a while back. However, the first look in form of a teaser was released during Netflix Tudum.
Ozark Season 4 revealed
The Netflix crime drama that has been a favourite at the Emmys for quite some time is returning back with the fourth season. The official first look at Ozark season 4 is out now with the return of the Byrdes.
Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman First Look
A much-anticipated release that everyone has been looking forward to is the adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman. The first look at Netflix Tudum shows us how the Lord of Dreams is being summoned by the mortals giving us some major Game of Thrones vibes.
More on Don’t Look Up
An exclusive clip from the upcoming movie Don’t Look Up got noticed at Netflix Tudum. Featuring a dialogue scene between legendary Meryl Streep, Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrance, the clip is titled “Sit Tight and Assess”.
Elona Holmes 2 confirmed
We already knew we would see Millie Bobby Brown reprise in her role as Enola Holmes alongside Henry Cavil playing the new-age Sherlock. However, at Netflix Tudum it was revealed that Louis Partridge’s Viscount Tewksbury too will be back as Enola’s love interest.

Emily in Paris Season 2 Date Annouced
Starring Lily Collins in the lead role, we are all set to go on adventures with Emily in the second season of Emily in Paris. The series is renewed for season two that will drop on December 22, 2021.

The fan-favourite Cowboy Bebop is arriving on Netflix soon. We got a look at the title sequence from the live-action adaptation and it has made us all the more curious!
Tiger King 2 returns

As the name goes, it is not hard to guess that Netflix’s upcoming three-part documentary is going to be based on the genius Kanye West. This docu-series will follow a candid and intimate portrayal of Kanye’s journey and experiences.

The Witcher Surprise
Netflix Tudum did not hold back when it came to making announcements about Netflix’s famous The Witcher series. Two clips from The Witcher Season 2 were unveiled at Netflix Tudum. Although we did not get any full-length trailer, it was confirmed that The Witcher Season 3 is happening!
Meanwhile, the prequel The Witcher: Blood Origin starring Sophia Brown, Laurence O’Fuarain, and Michelle Yeoh is taking place. It is set 1,200 years prior to the events in The Witcher series. At Netflix Tudum, a behind-the-scenes set tour clip was revealed from The Witcher: Blood Origin.

Overall, looks like the upcoming months are going to be huge for the streaming giant with the release of some major titles and renewal of several fan favourites.
