My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 5 nicely prepared us for what’s to come next. Let us look at how MHA Season 7 episode 5 went below.

My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 4 Recap

The last episode wasn’t packed with events, but it set the stage for significant future developments. It starts with Aoyama’s capture and the revelation of his secrets, shocking everyone. The notorious traitor, responsible for the heroes’ repeated losses against villains, turns out to be a beloved UA student.

However, it’s clear Aoyama acted under duress. Deku understands this and stands by his friend, remembering their shared experiences. Remarkably, the entire class agrees Aoyama shouldn’t be punished for his actions. They suggest using Aoyama’s continued trust that All for One has to set a trap for the villains.

The heroes see this as a chance to locate and defeat their enemies, but it’s not that simple. Aoyama, overwhelmed with guilt and shame, withdraws, feeling undeserving of his friends’ support.

Meanwhile, preparations to locate the villains are accelerating. Police officers and All Might devise a challenging but promising strategy to take down the villains. Success could bring peace, but failure could mean total destruction.

My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 5 Review and Recap

Today’s episode is the last thing that you will see before everything goes downhill. From the next episode, we will enter the final war arc from the manga which is the last arc where the main battle will go down.

In today’s episode, things start off from the perspective of the villains, as we see Toga come to her abandoned home and relive some traumatic memories. The house is in shambles with angry people vandalizing it and leaving mean comments. But such things do not mean anything to Toga, who gets the constant reminder of how she was unaccepted by society and her parents in the house.

That is when she meets Dabi, who reinforces their want of destruction and burns the house down. One might think that Toga would be angry about this, but actually, she preferred it that way to the point of thanking Dabi. He must have burned the house of bad memories for Toga, and she understands his line of thought.

On the other hand, both the villains and the heroes know that in less than a week, Tomura will resume his carnage. This is why the heroes must apprehend All For One and others as soon as possible.

This episode had many things for you to focus on. We also see many interactions, especially between Ochaco and Deku, who discuss morality and their duty. Both of them know how much their enemies have caused destruction, and they will do anything to stop them, but at the same time, they understand the suffering people like Toga and Tomura have gone through.

Both the good and evil sides are anxious about their next step other than All For One, who is very confident with his ideas. However, he does get duped towards the end by the brilliant planning of the heroes.

Verdict

The ending was definitely a very exciting one that promises a great many things next week. It is just very heartbreaking that this entire journey is going to end soon, and that definitely makes me sad to some extent. But at the same time, I’m extremely happy how the makers are not dilly-dallying with this season and are keeping the pace fast and crisp.

All in all, keep watching this anime, as you will not regret being a part of this journey.
