My Happy Marriage Episode 2 Ending Explained: The second episode premiered on July 13, 2023, on Netflix. My Happy Marriage (My Blissful Marriage) or Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (わたしの幸せな結婚) is an upcoming anime series which will be premiering on Netflix. Based on the light novel of the same name written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka, it also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Rito Kohsaka.
The live-action film adaptation of the fantasy series was released in Japan on March 2023. Following the story of Miyo, who enters an arranged marriage with a ruthless commander, officially got its own anime series announced to be directed by Takehiro Kubota under Kinema Citrus Studios. Ami Satō, Takahito Ōnishi and Momoka Toyoda are credited as the writers, and Evan Call gives the music.
Licensed under Netflix, the series is scheduled to run for 13 episodes. With an estimated duration of 20-25 minutes each, the episodes are available in English dub and subtitles. The opening theme song is Anata no Soba ni (貴方の側に。, “By Your Side”) by Riria and the ending theme song, Vita Philosophica (ヰタ・フィロソフィカ), is performed by Kashitarō Itō.

The episode opens with Kiyoka setting strict rules for Miyo that she should follow around the household. She readily accepts his demands which slightly leaves him shocked as all the previous women refused to follow. However, to be of some use around the house, she decided to cook breakfast for him, but he refused to eat it. He believed that the food was poisoned and informed that he does not trust strangers in the least.
Why did Miyo cry?
When Kiyoka’s helper told him to be gentler towards Miyo, he listened to her. He was deeply troubled by his behaviour and regretted shouting at Miyo needlessly. When he returns home, Miyo apologises for her behaviour, and he accepts it right away. A while later, he goes to her doorstep and asks her to cook the breakfast in the morning, letting her steadily enter into his life.
The next day Miyo cooks an elaborate breakfast for Kiyoka and delivers it to his room. She remains nervous the entire time as she was worried if the food would be to his liking. Surprisingly, he ate the entire bowl and praised her cooking. The sudden compliment left her emotional, and tears started to roll down her cheeks. She suddenly got emotional because she never received any praise for her work in her life and always thought of herself to be incompetent. She is relieved after being of some use to Kiyoka.

Who Was Miyo’s Father Talking To?
Miyo’s father, the head of the Saimori family, Shinichi Saimori, is seen talking to a person on the phone. The conversation gets heated slightly as Shinichi is seen with an intense expression on his face. The person on the other line accuses Shinichi of not keeping his promise of sending his daughter to the Tatsuishi family. They are talking about none other than Miyo, who possesses the Usuba family’s blood which she gained from her late mother. Apparently Usuba family have a special ability that is precious to many, and that makes Miyo extremely valuable.
However, it still raises questions about Shinichi’s intentions with Miyo. If he set up her marriage with Tatsuishi family the why did he send her to the Kudo family?
