Marvel’s upcoming miniseries, Moon Knight is going to be one spectacular series to behold. The anticipation for the show’s release is only increasing with every passing day and, featurettes releasing from the series every now and then is only making the wait hard for the audiences. This upcoming title is going to be the sixth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) that is produced by Marvel Studios and, shares continuity with the films of the franchise.
Created by The Umbrella Academy’s Jeremy Slater, the series is based on the Marvel Comic character Moon Knight by Doug Moench and Don Perlin. Slater serves as the head writer for the show too, alongside Mohamed Diab leading the directing team. Moon Knight Plot/Synopsis
IMDb’s description of this upcoming action-adventure drama reads: “A former U.S. Marine, struggling with dissociative identity disorder, is granted the powers of an Egyptian moon god. But he soon finds out that these newfound powers can be both a blessing and a curse to his troubled life.”

Moon Knight Cast
Oscar Isaac plays the titular character of the show- Moon Knight, also known as Marc Spector. The main supporting cast includes Ethan Hawke as Arthur Harrow and May Calamawy as Layla El-Faouly. Additionally, we as going to see Gaspard Ulliel as Anton Mogart / Midnight Man, Rey Lucas as Elias Spector, Ann Akinjirin as Bobby, David Ganly as Billy, and Fernanda Andrade as Wendy Spector, Marc’s mother. Actors Saffron Hocking, Sofia Asir, Ahmed Dash, Hazem Ehab, Amr Al-Qadi, Zizi Dagher, Sofia Danu, Karim El-Hakim, Shaun Scott, and Díana Bermudez have also joined the cast in undisclosed roles.
Moon Knight Release Date, Trailer and More
Moon Knight is set to air on Disney+ Hotstar on March 30, 2022. With a total of six episodes, the show will follow a weekly release pattern, with episodes coming out every Wednesday. The runtime for each episode of going to 40-45 minutes.
