The upcoming Netflix film, Metal Lords marks the first of many films to come out of the partnership between the OTT giant and, HBO’s acclaimed Game of Thrones creators, David Benioff & D B Weiss. Directed by Peter Sollett with a screenplay from D.B Weiss, the film has David Benioff, Bernie Caulfield and Robin Fisichella serving as the executive producers. Metal Lords Plot/Synopsis
Netflix’s official description for the film reads: “For teenage misfits, Hunter and Kevin, the path to glory is clear: Devote themselves to metal. Win Battle of the Bands. And be worshipped like gods.” The streaming platform further describes the film as witty and feel-good. The film is going to be a teen comedy.

The cast of the film includes Knives Out’s Jaeden Martell along with newcomers Adrian Greensmith and Isis Hainsworth. Actors Phelan Davis and Joe Manganiello are also part of the cast.

Metal Lords Release Date, Trailer and More
The film is scheduled to arrive on Netflix on April 8, 2022. The runtime of the film is 98 minutes. Tom Morello serves as the music director for the film alongside Ramin Djawadi, who has previously worked with writer and producer D. B. Weiss and David Benioff during Game of Thrones.
