MasterChef Australia Season 14 First Look: Winners Julie Goodwin, Sashi Cheliah and Billie McKay Return

MasterChef Australia Season 14 starts in Australia today. The cooking competition show will be judged by everyone’s favourite Andy Allen, Melissa Leong and Jock Zonfrillo. The latest season is called ‘Fans and Favourites’. In the new season, fans will get to see new contestants as well as the cooks from previous seasons. Some of the previous contestants are also the winners from different seasons. On their Instagram page, the show has shared the first look of season 14.

Julie Goodwin, the winner of MasterChef Australia Season 1, said, “MasterChef, literally changed my life in a deep and profound way. It’s where it all began; all of this, all this crazy ride. So walking through the doors of the kitchen will feel a little bit like coming home. I’m a competitive person. So, I want it pretty badly. I’m sure everybody else in the room is going to feel the same way. So, bring it on.”

About returning to MasterChef Australia Season 14, season 10 winner Sashi Cheliah said, “I am the cook I am today because of MasterChef. My life did a complete 180 degrees from a prison officer to running restaurants, and now, we are going global. MasterChef has brought me a lot of success. But, I need to know whether I’m still worthy of what I’ve achieved so far.”

Billie McKay, season 7 winner, shared, “Since winning MasterChef, I had the greatest experience working under Heston at the Fat Duck. But I’ve had a bit of a break from cooking for a while. I had a little baby. The last year has been amazing. But, I’ve been wondering what was sort of missing? It was cooking. It’s definitely my calling. So, I’m ready to get back into the kitchen.”

The judges, Jock, Melissa and Andy, also share their excitement for the latest season and praise the contestants. In the comments section, fans have also shared their interest in watching season 14. One person commented, “Love watching MasterChef because everyone roots for each other. It is uplifting!!!
