Lee Seung Gi to Star In the Upcoming Legal Drama Love According to the Law?

Lee Seung Gi, who we saw recently in Netflix’s reality show New World has a new project up his sleeve! The artist has been known for varying skills starting from being a professional singer to an actor starring in several television shows, movies, web shows, discography, etc. As of recent, it is the upcoming Korean legal drama- Love According to the Law that is tying itself to the actor’s name.

The new legal drama is going to be based on a web novel where a romance drama unfolds at Law Café, which acts both as a law firm and a café. The series will tell the story of a landlord, who happens to be a former prosecutor known as the “monster genius,” and a former Miss Korea contestant who is presently a lawyer. The director for the show will be Lee Eun Jin and it will be co-produced by Jidam Media.

It was reported on January 24 by YTN that Lee Seung Gi is confirmed to star in this KBS2’s Love According to the Law aka Love based on Law and Love by Law. It will be premiering on Monday and Tuesday. This report was met with a response from Lee Seung Gi’s agency, Hook Entertainment. The agency source confirmed that the actor has received an offer to star in Love According to the Law and he is positively reviewing the offer.

Well turns out if Lee Seung Gi accepts this role, it will be his first drama in over ten months since he starred in tvN’s hit show Mouse. It would also mark his first KBS drama in over 16 years as the last one he did was Famous Chil Princesses in 2006.
