Kangana Ranaut Shares Release Date And Other Details On Her Upcoming Film ‘Dhaakad’

‘Thalaivi’ is still alive in public memory and expectations are high from ‘Tejas’, Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film on a woman pilot in the Indian Air Force, but there’s no stopping the actress. She has announced the release date on social media for her upcoming action-packed spy thriller, alongside some shots from the film.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the film since last January when the first posters from it surfaced online. To announce ‘Dhaakad’, Kangana took to Instagram to share a rather symmetrical collage of her four looks from the film as she gave a sneak peek into the world of ‘Dhaakad’ and what to expect from the action flick.

Sharing the first look of Agent Agni, Kangana captioned the image with this description of her character: “She is fierce, feisty and fearless. #AgentAgni is all geared up to set the big screen on fire. Bringing to you the action spy thriller #Dhaakad that will hit theatres on 8th April 2022!”

More details on Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Dhaakad’ below:

The film is going to be directed by Razneesh Razy Ghai and stars Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta in pivotal roles alongside Kangana. The film has been shot in Madhya Pradesh and Budapest. The upcoming film was previously scheduled to release in October 2021, however, it was postponed due to the ongoing pandemic and the visible delays in production.

Kangana had previously commented on the importance of the film in her life saying, “Dhaakad is not only a benchmark film for my career but will be a turning point for Indian cinema as well. The film is mounted on a large scale, and is one of a kind female-led action film”, reports The Indian Express.
