Jersey Trailer: Shahid Kapoor Has to Choose Family or Cricket!

The much anticipated Jersey trailer has finally dropped showcasing Shahid Kapoor’s return to the silver screen after two whole years! Shadid Kapoor’s last hit Kabir Singh put him high up on the pedestal for the right acting skills but, also caused a blow with the misogynistic script. However, Kapoor has also been unique and creative with his script choices be it Batti Gul Meter Chalu or Udta Punjab. Thus, Jersey instils a lot of hope in his fans that he will pleasantly surprise us again!

Unveiling the first look of the film recently, the actor gave us all the overview details required. The film is presented by Allu Arvind and produced by Aman Gill, Dil Raju, S. Naga Vamsi, and stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur in vital roles. National Award-winning filmmaker Gowtam Tinnanuri is the director, who has also directed the Jersey film that was first released in Telegu. We have music directors who gave us the beautiful album of Kabir Singh, Sachet and Parampara back.

Jersey Trailer: Fatherhood & Sportsmanship

The film is set against the backdrop of India’s favourite sport cricket and lives and breathes the essence of fatherhood giving it the upper hand already. We witness Shahid Kapoor in an avatar never seen before as the glimpses in the trailer transition him from being a failed cricketer to a loving father. However, a request from his son sends him reeling back to the past and confronting the dreams that he never pursued.

Shahid Kapoor brings to screen a rugged look that serves as a reminder of his look in Kabir Singh with overgrown hair and beard. But, in the flashbacks, he brilliantly charms us with charisma giving us the nostalgia of his younger years.
