Sad news has graced Hollywood with the death of voice actor Issac Bardavid, who is famously known for voicing Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine in the X-Men movies. The actor has voiced many other popular characters in Hollywood movies and American television shows that have been imported into brazil. Born in 1931 in Rio de Jeneiro, the actor’s loss has truly saddened the cinema industry.
The actor has been known for acting in the 1995 ‘Tocaia Grande’, the 2009 ‘Carrer del Mar’ and the 2021 ‘King David’ alongside his voice acting careers. The writer-actor passed away at the age of 91 on February 1, 2022. The news was reported by Bardavid’s grandson stating how the actor was ill and, due to his old age and illness passed away.
On hearing about the Bardavid passing away, actor Hugh Jackman who plays Wolverine in the X-men film franchise took to his social media handle to pay tribute to the late actor. Jackman shared a video of them together. In the video, we see Bardavid repeating Jackman’s iconic line- “Don’t be what they made you”.
