How Do You Play, Running Man and Other Top Variety Shows On October Brand Reputation Rankings

The list of October’s Brand Reputation Rankings are out and names like ‘How Do You Play’ and ‘Love Call Center’ seem to top the list. Revealed by the Korean Business Research Institute, this data was obtained through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs. The collection of the data took place from September 3 to October 3.

Over 98,911,808 brand big data of 50 popular entertainment programs were examined to create the list and cannot deny that we totally agree with it!

‘How Do You Play’ retains its place once again!

‘How Do You Play’ on the MBC network has been in the talks since its release in 2019. This reality tv show focuses on Yoo Jae-suk taking up projects and everything the famous comedian does in his free time. A laughter ride in itself, the show was on the top of the list this time too with a brand reputation index of 5,155,892.

Turns out the highest-ranking keywords for the show’s search includes ‘Yoo Jae Suk,’ ‘Kim Tae Ho’ and Netflix’s new rising star ‘Squid Game.’ Even the show’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed 70.59 per cent of positive reactions, which is rare for a variety show.

The second place was bagged by ‘Running Man’ from SBS with a brand reputation index of 5,013,970, marking a 5.27 per cent increase in its individual score since September. You can watch ‘Running Man’ on Netflix. ‘Love Call Center’, on the other hand, grabbed third place with a brand reputation index of 4,991,058.

‘PPONG School’ and ‘Street Woman Fighter’ both took the fourth and fifth places, respectively on the October Brand Reputation Rankings List for Variety Shows.
