Happy Carat Day to all the die-hard fans of SEVENTEEN. February 14 doesn’t just mark Valentine’s day because, for the fandom of the 13 boys, it’s an extraordinary day. Back in 2016, on this very date, SEVENTEEN’s first encore concert Like Seventeen – Boys Wish, was held. It is at that place the band revealed that their fandom would be called CARATs to demonstrate that their fans are the light of the band.
Every year, the boys post something special for their fans, and this year, we’re still unsure about what it will be. Nevertheless, a live video from them is 100 per cent guaranteed. One of the best surprises the CARATs got was Thank You For Being Born song produced by Woozi and sung by all the band members. Initially, Woozi composed this on his birthday live, but the fans got a full audio in 2021 sung by the 13 artists.
Formerly, in 2020, the main vocalist, Dokyeom, also posted a video covering Paul Kim’s The Road. Many fans found the cover comforting as it was released during Covid-19. Every year, all the members share their wishes on WeVerse, and fans find it endearing and heart-touching. That said, already the boys have shared it on that site, so check it out.
In addition to all the surprises given by SEVENTEEN, fans, on the other hand, always trend the hashtag #HappyCaratDay and share their heartfelt messages on Twitter. Let’s check out some of the tweets.
