Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3: Will Poulter Gets Candid About Joining the MCU

‘We’re the Millers’ star Will Poulter, who was recently a part of Ari Aster’s ‘Midsommer’ and, is well known for the scrawny kid from the ‘We’re the Millers’- meme that has aged like fine wine over the years circulating the internet is all set to join Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.’ The child star, who looks almost unrecognizable now with features that make him look incredibly handsome is stepping into the Marvel family as an iconic character that we have longed missed in the franchise.

The cosmic being with superhuman abilities Adam Warlock aka., ‘Him’ who has long been a part of the team of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ in the comics, is scheduled to appear on the screen and is going to be played by Will Poulter. It was back in 2017 that the post-credit scenes in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 teased the onset of this character. It was not until last month when Marvel announced the character’s affiliation with star Will Poulter.

Will Poulter on being a part of the Marvel Franchise

The premise of the film is being tightly kept under wraps. Though following the comics we can assume that Gamora and Warlock are going to form a partnership which just might put Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord on the edge. However, during an interview with Variety, the actor has definitely spoken fondly about feeling “very honoured to have been welcomed into the Marvel family.” The actor who was interviewing for his Hulu series ‘Dopesick’ confessed how his interaction with everyone was great and how he is filled with excitement to be on the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, regarding it as “one of the most creative and unique.”

The actor offered insight into how it was going from a project like ‘Dopesick’ which is a drama to a superhero project. ‘The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3’ is slated to release in theatres on May 23, 2023.
