CRAVITY’s latest title track’s vibe is self explanatory, all thanks to its name, and the visuals in the Groovy music video. Off their fifth mini album titled MASTER : PIECE which released on March 6, 2023, at 6 PM KST, i.e. 2:30 PM IST, the South Korean boy band formed by Starship Entertainment has come out with their peppy leading track that portrays both – the members’ debonair flair and a lively star-lit choreography that gets you hyped.

The K-pop boy group’s nine members – Serim (leader), Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung, and Seongmin – are first pictured in grey tones of attires, situated in an office space. Wearing suit and ties, they impress with their sleek looks. This scene posits them as employees of an agency analysing the winning factors adorned by their K-pop idol alter egos, who bust out into a colourful dance sequence with a carnival background setting lighting up the stage and their path.
It looks like each of their employee personas possesses a piece of the puzzle, which when put together, forms the ultimate ‘masterpiece’. As mentioned before, the second carnival setting is complemented by the smashing pop beats of the song that instantly get you in a good mood. Thereafter, the numerous moments of the video take us behind the making process of a music video production scene wherein the members can be seen in their green room, or preparing for photoshoots and sitting down for press releases.
The monochromatic suit-and-tie style is contrasted by their second set of flamboyant and radiant attires that embody the mood of celebration, much like the song’s rhythm too. Groovy makes for the perfect party ice-breaker tune that is bound to make the guests feel at ease.
The general mood of the track hopes to convey the same idea as represented by the stark contrast of the several sets of outfits picked by the artists – the stifling and routinal cycle of everyday life that has individuals chasing the same hustle culture on a daily basis. However, much like the sensations of falling in love, the mood switches over as soon as love gets in the way. The following lyrics illustrate the more one falls in love, the more it frees them from these shackling banalities of the mundane cyclic nature of one’s daily schedule, thereby, making them feel Groovy.
