Game of Thrones actor Joseph Gatt who played the role of Thenn Warg, a Free Folk tribe member in the series has been confronted with serious allegations of sexual assault. The actor has been arrested due to having explicit sexual communication with a minor across state lines. The news is making headlines just ahead of the release of this supernatural horror film titled Titanic 666. Arrested in Los Angeles, the LAPD released a statement concerning the actor and the incident on April 12, 2022.
The press release by LAPD via ET stated, “On April 6, 2022, around 4:45 a.m., detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Juvenile Division, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, served a residential search warrant at the home of Joseph Gatt… after they received information that Gatt had been engaged in online sexually explicit communication with a minor across state lines.” The statement continued, “He was subsequently arrested by detectives for an outstanding felony warrant for California Penal Code 288.3(a) – Contact with a Minor for Sexual Offense.”
Even though Gatt has now been released on a USD 5000 bail, the police have encouraged anyone with additional information to step forward as it is an ongoing investigation. On his release, Gatt took to Twitter to deny all the accusations put up against him He wrote a Twitter post sharing that the horrifying allegations are completely untrue.
