Far From Home Ending Explained: Did Ishaya Became An Artist?

Far From Home is a Nigerian drama series that revolves around a young artist Ishaya, who finds himself in a series of troubles after he steals from a local drug lord. The series is created by Damilola Elebe and Chinaza Onuzo and features Mike Afolarin in a prominent role.

The rest of the cast includes Funke Akindele, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Mike Afolarin, Elma Mbadiwe, Adesua Etomi, Bolanle Ninalowo, and Bimbo Akintola along with many others. There are a total of five episodes in the show, with an average runtime of thirty-five to fifty minutes each.

From what we know after watching the series, Ishaya tries to pay off the drug lord by selling substances to his classmates. The young lad from Lagos even helps Oga Rambo in his kidnapping plan, until the matter becomes too difficult for him to handle. Moreover, when the bad guys attempt to kidnap Carmen, he finally decides the pull the lever of chaos.

Ishaya confesses the truth to the principal and the college committee. And takes the blame for almost everything, in order to bust the racquet. He is later successful in diffusing the kidnapping, as the police make way to arrest Oga Rambo and his associates. Furthermore, the team fails to catch them initially and finds them planning an attack on Ishaya.

The aspiring artist gets a call from Adufe, who asks him to meet her at a secret location. At first, when Ishaya arrives at the place, Oga Rambo tries to kill him in the ambush and nearly succeeds in the plan. However, Adufe, his ex-girlfriend, knocks the drug kingpin unconscious and ends up helping the young lad.

The police finally shift the bad guys behind the bars and bring normalcy to the situation. Moreover, Ishaya, who had submitted his backup art to the prestigious scholarship, gets selected as one of the top candidates. Finally, his talent helps him to overcome his situation, and change the course of events in his life. The young lad also gets a nod from his mentor in London, who appears on a Television show, to speak about his struggles.

In the end, we get to see Adufe running the nightclub in her own style. And also reversed the roles at the club, by putting his former boyfriend inside the cage. Furthermore, the series ends when Adufe states that from now on, she’ll be the one running the game instead of the drug king pin. Thereby eliminating all hopes for a second season, of this dull and plain series.
