Euphoria Season 2 Episode 4 became very dark and twisted. The latest season is written and directed entirely by Sam Levinson. The HBOMax show stars Zendaya as Rue, Hunter Schafer as Jules, Dominic Fike as Elliot, Jacob Elordi as Nate and many others. In episode 4, Zendaya’s Rue takes a lot of drugs from the bag she got from Laurie. We see Rue’s imaginations where she hugs Labrinth and also her dead father. Rue cries a lot, and the entire scene is emotional and gut-wrenching. One is worried about Rue’s overgrowing addiction to drugs again. She has overdosed once, and chances are she has done it again.
A lot of fans are worried that Rue is dead. Some people think she died due to overdose, while some think she has been dead all the time. Fans have interesting reactions and theories for the same. One person wrote, “there’s a high possibility that rue overdosed:( she gets home already very high & takes more pills & and then she’s in a church hugging labyrinth (God) & is simultaneously having a conversation with her dead dad. & the narration switched from rue to jules at the end.”
Another Season 2 fan tweeted, “y’all rue is dead, we saw her in the church with Labrinth and then at the very end hear jules narrate. it’s moving from rue’s narration to jules #Euphoria”. A fan shared, “is rue dead??? she saw her dad, jules took over the narrating, she’s not in the ep5 trailer, elliot saying “i likeD rue the way she WAS”, gia and rues mum sobbing in the trailer???? i can’t do this”.
An interesting theory shared by another fan mentions, “This might sound crazy but I got a theory that rues dead and she never was narrating. We’re just seeing lexi’s play. Like Lexi is narrating for rue and Jules because everything has already happened..”. Some have even shared memes to express their concern.
