Euphoria Season 2 Episode 3 Promo Predictions: Cal’s Backstory, Trouble in Rue-Jules’ Paradise?

With just two episodes, HBOMax’s Euphoria Season 2 by Sam Levinson has made everyone intrigued. Now all eyes are on Euphoria Season 2 Episode 3. The adult-teenage drama stars Zendaya, Angus Cloud, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Hunter Schafer, Algee Smith, Sydney Sweeney, Javon Walton, Dominic Fike and Maude Apatow. So what’s going to happen next? Read on.

After every episode, the makers tease us with glimpses of what’s next with a small teaser. Similarly, for Euphoria Season 2 Episode 3, they’ve shared a 57 seconds promo. The episode, titled ‘Big and Little Bullys’, will take us all to the past. As shown in the teaser, Rue will now narrate Cal Jacobs’ story. Played by actor Eric Dane; he’s a creepy man who sleeps with young teenagers.

In the teaser, Rue says that when Cal was in high school, he spent every day with his best friend. But people drift away when you grow older, and that’s what happened with Cal and his best friend. The promo also hints that Cal was probably in love with his male best friend. The promo then shifts to the present, where Nate Jacobs completely ignore Cassie in the high school corridors.

In episode 2, we saw an awkward conversation between Jules-Rue-Elliot. Jules is unhappy with Rue’s friendship with Elliot because she believes that her girlfriend has a crush on her new friend. Even though they cleared it out, Jules still seems to be having issues with Elliot. In the promo, Jules says to him, “I don’t like you”. Did Jules find out that Rue and he are doing drugs together? That would truly affect their new relationship.

In the washroom, Cassie yells at Rue if she’s on drugs again. The makers immediately take us to Rue’s imagination, where she’s a professor. Rue says, “In all fairness, I did say I had no intentions of staying clean.” Rue goes on and on with a lot of drama that unfolds until the last scene, where she becomes a businesswoman. Well, everything is making us excited to see what drama will unfold further.
