Eternals Teaser Out: Immortal Beings, Bollywood Dance And More

Today, Marvel Studios treated their enormous fandom worldwide with the first official Eternals teaser. Ever since it shared a montage video of the MCU’s journey since 2008, fans have been eagerly waiting for more than just a few seconds of clips shown from the Chloé Zhao directorial. Well, almost a month later, their wish is granted.

The star cast of Eternals consists of Angelina Jolie, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Ma Dong-Seok, Gemma Chan, Barry Keoghan, and Brian Tyree Henry. The story is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame and will focus on these alien race created by the Celestians who have been living on Earth for more than 7000 years. In the MCU film, they will reunite to protect the human race from the deadly threats of the Deviants.

The Eternals teaser is of at least 2 minutes, and it starts with a soul-stirring and melancholic track The End Of The World by Skeeter Davis. The song is enough to hook you to the screen in just a few seconds as it enhances the gloominess that engulfs Earth post Endgame. Salma Hayek aka Ajak, the leader of these Eternals, says that they have watched the Deviants accomplish wonders for years, and they didn’t interfere. But now, they cannot let the evil make people suffer and hint that they have to get into action.

As Ajak talks say these lines, we get to see glimpses of the star cast. Angelina Jolie is a delight to watch as a fierce warrior Thena. Richard Madden and Gemma Chan have a beautiful bond together, as Ikaris and Sersi. Kumal Nanjiani plays Kingo, an Eternal who is a Bollywood actor. In the teaser, we see a long shot of a colourful Bollywood dance sequence.

Kit Harington, who plays human warrior Dane Whitman, also appears on the screen for a second. In the teaser, a lot is going on. The green palette with some other earthy shades gives us a hint of sadness and terror in the teaser. Words won’t be enough to describe how intriguing the teaser is. But it will give you chills for sure. They also discuss who will lead the Avengers now that Captain America and Iron Man are gone.

On their Twitter page, Marvel Studios captioned the teaser, “Throughout the years, we have never interfered, until now. Watch the brand-new teaser trailer for Marvel Studios’ #Eternals and experience it in theatres this November.” The makers have also shared a new poster.

Eternals is based on the story by Jack Kirby, and the screenplay for the film is penned by Kaz Firpo and Ryan Firpo. Produced by Kevin Feige, Ramin Djawadi has composed the music of the Marvel film. The MCU film is slated to release on November 5, 2021.
