Elnaaz Norouzi Bags Emmy-Winning Show Tehran Season 2, Actor Shares Her Excitement

Elnaaz Norouzi an Iranian-German actress and model, popular for her role Zoya in Sacred Games has known to bag a significant role in the Israeli spy thriller television series Tehran’s second instalment. The TV series was created by Moshe Zonder for the Israeli public channel which premiered on June 22, 2020, in Israel and on September 25 on Apple TV+ worldwide. The story revolves around a Mossad agent on her first mission in Iran’s capital, which also is her birthplace. Tehran was awarded the best drama series by International Emmy Awards. It was the first Israeli series to get recognition and win the award.

The second instalment or Season 2 was announced by Apple TV+ on January 26 2021. Now it is heard that Bollywood actress of Sacred Games fame Elnaaz Norouzi was roped in for a major role. It will be a delight to watch a Bollywood actor debut in the International series. She before Netflix’s Sacred Games did promotions for brands such as Thums Up, Titan Raga, Myntra, Canon, Being Human, Fiama Di Wills, Le Coq Sportif and Dior.

Actress Elnaaz Norouzi, who caught people’s eye with her ‘Sacred Games’ character, is mightily pleased about the release announcement of Season 2 of the International Emmy-winning show ‘Tehran’.

Apple TV+ recently shared the details of the second season of the Israeli production, which is all set to stream from May 6 this year.

Sharing her excitement, the Iranian-born actress Elnaaz Norouzi said: “I have been a fan of ‘Tehran S1’ myself. And now, having an opportunity to work on the show’s sequel is a surreal feeling. I am really looking forward to its release. I hope the audience enjoys watching my performance and showers the season with the same love they did the last time.”

Apart from ‘Tehran Season 2’, Elnaaz Norouzi also has a thriller titled ‘Sangeen’ in the pipeline, where she will star opposite ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
