Dune 2: Here’s When Timothée Chalamet and Others Will Start Filming

It was previously stated by the Warner Bros that Dune will have a sequel. The shooting for the movie Dune 2 likely to begin soon. There was a lot of buzz revolving around Dune and the same continues for Dune 2. The fans are thrilled to hear more about the film.

Recently, Timothée Chalamet took to his social media to share with his fans an announcement regarding Dune 2. Dune starred Timothée Chalamet as the lead character Paul Atreides along with Oscar Isaac, Rebecca Ferguson, Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, and Zendaya in key roles. It will be exciting to see what will be the cast of Dune 2.

Screenrant stated that Timothée Chalamet’s Dune has already collected approximately $330 million worldwide, it earned $41 million during it’s opening. Dune is directed by Denis Villeneuve, he was inclined towards the name Dune by Frank Herbert’s iconic sci-fi novel of the name. The shooting for Dune 2 will begin around the summer of 2022, the film will be released in 2023.

In order to make an announcement regarding Dune 2 , Warner Bros and Legendary wrote in the caption “This is only the beginning…Thank you to those who have experienced @dunemovie so far, and those who are going in the days and weeks ahead. We’re excited to continue the journey.”

 Since the announcement of the movie, the fans seem to be pretty excited about the movie and they want to know more details about it like when would it finally start filming and much more. As of now, the final date of the shooting has not been announced but the movie is likely to begin shooting by July 2022.

The announcement about Dune 2 has left the fans with so much amusement and excitement  at the same time. They are ecstatic and overjoyed with the news. A fan wrote “This is not a drill, this is happening,” on the social media, While the other one thanked the cast and the crew for confirming another part.
