It will soon be a week since Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was released in theatres. It’s the fifth MCU Phase 4 film directed by Sam Raimi. The latest Marvel project stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams and Xochitl Gomez. You must be surprised to see Charlize Theron if you have watched the mid-credit scene. The actor will be playing an important character in the MCU.
Charlize Theron as Clea comes out of a portal to meet Doctor Strange in the mid-credit scene. She tells him that he has caused an incursion, and they have to fix it. In the MCU, incursion means an event when two universes crash into each other. Stephen Strange, aka Doctor Strange, is ready to fix it. Before he enters the portal with her, his third eye opens again.
A few hours ago, Theron shared the official image as Clea on her Instagram page. One is a close-up picture, and the other is her image with Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange. She captioned it, “Meet Clea.” When Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was released, Charlize had shared an indirect post on her social media. She shared a pic in a purple outfit and wrote, “Cat’s out of the bag.”
