Some collaborations always get us super-excited. Whether it’s the first time or a reunion, the audience knows it is going to be a hit on the screen. One such director-actor duo who has got us eager to go to the cinemas again is Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee Pannu. The duo first worked in a film together called Manmarziyaan (2018).

Manmarziyaan was the first collaboration for Taapsee Pannu with Anurag Kashyap. The film also starred Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal. It was a very non-Kashyap type of film as it catered towards romance and heartbreak. While the critics gave mixed reviews to the 2018 release, the audience couldn’t stop raving about it. Well, it’s time for Kashyap-Pannu fans to tighten their seat belts as they are giving us another interesting film together called Dobaaraa.

Everything about Taapsee Pannu’s Dobaaraa:

A few days ago, Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee Pannu shared a promo of Dobaaraa. In the promo, the director appears on the TV screen which leaves Pannu baffled. He asks her to check the time and it’s 2:12 (in Hindi one reads it as Do Baaraa). The promo managed to set the tone of an exquisite thriller – something that Kashyap is a pro at making. But this time, he aims to take us to travel time across the dimensions of the universe.

So far, the only casting confirmed for the film is Taapsee Pannu. Producers Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Sunir Kheterpal and Gaurav Bose will back this new age thriller.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the only collaboration we all are looking forward to. A few weeks ago, Hrithik Roshan gave a huge surprise to all his fans when he announced a new action saga with Deepika Padukone. A lot of Bollywood buffs have waited long enough to see these two talented and good-looking people to pair up onscreen. On his birthday, the Super 30 actor announced Fighter and shared a small teaser of the same. Director Siddharth Anand will helm the film which is expected to hit the theatre screens on September 30, 2022.

Apart from this, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone will team up again for YRF’s Pathan. The duo last worked together in the 2014 film Happy New Year. Also starring John Abraham, the film is being helmed by Siddharth Anand. It will mark SRK and Deepika’s 4th collaboration together. It is a known fact that they are known to create magic on screen with their mesmerising chemistry. While official confirmation is yet to happen, this comeback film of SRK is grabbing a lot of headlines for the past few months.

In November 2020, the superstar was spotted in his character’s look on the sets at the YRF studio. Salman Khan might also have a cameo as his Tiger Zinda Hai character Avinash Singh Rathore, in this action-thriller. Hrithik Roshan is also in talks to make a special appearance as his War movie character Major Kabir Dhaliwal.
