The Book of Boba Fett, the much-awaited Disney+ Star Wars series, is all set to release on Wednesday (December 29). The series was announced last year at the end of The Mandalorian Season 2. In the Pedro Pascal starrer, actor Temuera Morrison played the role of Boba Fett. He will reprise the role along with actor Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand.
Boba Fett is the son of Jango Fett, a Mandalorian whom we first met in the film Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. In the film, we see how every clone trooper at Kamino is made identical to Jango Fett. Temuera played the role of Jango, and as the son looks identical to his father, it is apt that he is cast as Boba Fett.
What’s the plot?
Disney+ series The Book of Boba Fett will show us what happened to Temuera’s character after The Empire Strikes Back till he appears in The Mandalorian. The trailer shows that Boba has taken over Tattooine, which was ruled by Jabba the Hutt. Jabba used fear to rule over the planet. But in the trailer, Boba says he won’t do that.
Boba Fett also says that he is neither a Bounty Hunter nor a crime lord. So what exactly will be his role as the leader? We will find out in the show.
