Today, Showtime shared Dexter: New Blood Episode 7 promo. The series stars Michael C Hall, Julia Jones, Clancy Brown and Jack Alcott in the main roles. If you are yet to watch the episode, you should skip the story and promo as it contains spoilers.
In Dexter: New Blood Episode 7 promo, we see that Angela wants Dexter’s help in solving the mystery of the dead girl. Dexter wants to keep Harrison away from Kurt, who kills young girls for pleasure. Debra’s ghost reminds Dexter that even he is a murderer. Dex and Angela also visit the farmhouse where Kurt Caldwell locks up young girls. But the last scene in the promo gets too real too fast.
The promo ends with Kurt and Dexter sitting together where the former says he thought they’d be friends. Dexter responds saying, “Let’s say you kill innocent women and I kill guys like you.”
In Episode 6, ‘Too Many Tuna Sandwiches’, we saw how Dexter/Jim figures out that Kurt might be a serial killer. He saves Molly from becoming Kurt’s next victim. So he needs to save his son Harrison to get influenced by Kurt. However, Harrison is in no mood to listen to his father.
On the other hand, Angela knows that Jim’s real name is Dexter Morgan, who worked at Miami as a forensic expert. At the end of the episode, Angela finds the body of Iris, a girl who’s been missing from Iron Lake for a long time. She immediately calls Jim and says that she doesn’t need him but the real him – Dexter Morgan.
The promo description reads, “Dexter turns from predator to protector out of concern that a serial killer has set its sights on someone he cares deeply about. Angela (Julia Jones) arrests someone who may be the culprit of a cold case. Harrison (Jack Alcott) turns to a very dangerous person as a father figure. Starring Michael C. Hall.”
