It is time to slay some demons and forge some swords with Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 2! One of the most popular anime series of our time is back with its third season, also called Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village Arc Episode 2 and Kimetsu no Yaiba Katanakaji no Sato-hen Episode 2. Demon Slayer is an action and fantasy anime based on a manga penned by Koyoharu Gotouge. This season is also being animated by Studio ufotable.
After somehow surviving their battle against the fearsome duo of Daki and Gyuutarou, who also form the Upper rank Six of the Twelve Demon Moons, Tanjirou is off for another adventure, this time accompanying a different set of Hashiras (pillars). Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui can’t make it this time, so the burden falls upon Muichirou Tokitou and Mitsuri Kanroji, the Mist and Love Hashiras.
The hunt for Kibutsuji Muzan to restore Nezuko to a human and to avenge his parents is still on for our protagonist, Kamado Tanjiro. He is accompanied in his adventures by his sister, Nezuko, alongside a ragtag group of similarly insane individuals, Inosuke and Zenitsu. This time, the journey takes Tanjiro to the Swordsmith Village, for he has managed to destroy his sword for the second time. Multiple tough battles and tougher opponents await!

Tanjiro has discovered another Hashira in the Swordsmith Village, and this one appears to be acting much shifter than Mitsuri, the first one that he met. Not just that, but he seems to be with a figure that Tanjiro remembers seeing through his father in his dreams. What is going in with the Mist Hashira and the mysterious figure who seems to resemble the Upper One Demon Moon very much? We shall see it in this episode!

Tanjiro and Nezuko are going to get much more attention this season, especially as the main villain of the entire arc seems to be associated with their past in some way. There had to have been a reason why we saw the flashback in the first episode, and the earrings that the person wears are the same earrings as Tanjiro’s dad when he did the Hinokami Kagura. There appear to be deep lore-based reasons behind everything, making this season much more personal than the first one.
