Class Plot/Synopsis
In the city of Delhi, there are three scholarship students who join the most prestigious school in the area. Netflix’s description of the series reads, “Three students from a poor neighbourhood join an exclusive high school for Delhi elite where dark secrets and rumours ultimately lead to murder.” They are out of place and, most embarrassingly, unaware of the customs that will make them fit in. Even in their first introductory session, they are met with condescension and vitriol.
It doesn’t matter that they are poor or scholarship students, but they are a threat to a dysfunctional system called their school. Violence and tension rise as people start taking note of these kids and realise that they don’t actually care what other people think of them. They just want to do their jobs and get out. However, a murder within the school changes everything. People start suspecting the newcomer trio, Balli, Saba and Dheeraj. Their entrance into this school becomes the main reason for the crisis that took place in the school.

However, there are people even within the clutches of Delhi high society that work in shady businesses and areas with dingy lighting and minimal safety. Class explores the darkest aspects parts of the teenage psyche. But love is always in the air, and it doesn’t matter where you come from, people are bound to find a connection with each other.
In the bonus trailer, characters are seen finding their partners even among the most trying times of their lives, when murder has been a glaring incident in their lives. Although, this traumatic incident has rattled people enough to lose friends and relationships and warn other people of the red flags we all exhibit.
As someone said, “Money doesn’t buy you class.” This becomes an overarching theme for the trailer and presumably for the series.
