Call It Love Episode 15 Recap
On his way to give Woo-joo the will, Dong-jin thinks back to his feelings about his mother, their last conversation and how Hee-ja has left her heartbroken after many years of emotional abuse and manipulation. He finds Woo-joo at her spot by the road and overhears her telling her mother to let go of the house so as not to hurt Dong-jin any more. It brings Dong-jin to tears, and his presence leaves Woo-joo surprised.

The two get to talking, and he asks her what’s on her mind. She starts blabbering about her feelings and how she wishes to just stay out with him the entire night. He, in turn, finally tells her that he has the will and that his mother hid it before her father passed away. He apologises that it took so long to return the will to her, and this revelation leaves her stunned.
Woo-joo tells him that she doesn’t want it, but Dong-jin insists she should stop thinking and just go back to her own home. He further elaborates that when she told her mother that she wants Dong-jin to be happy and fulfilled, it made his heart soar. Similarly, she shouldn’t settle for her happiness without the house.
Elsewhere, Hee-ja makes a run for it from Dong-jin’s place but not before washing the dishes in the sink. Meanwhile, when it comes time for Dong-jin to leave, it is clear that this separation might be for a long time.
At home, everyone is left sobbing after Woo-joo shows them the will. After the initial wave of sadness wears off, Hae-sung shares her feelings surrounding their father and the weight of making these big decisions with Woo-joo. However, neither of them knows what to do now that they have the house. Elsewhere, Dong-jin comes back home to an empty house and all the chores done.

As Hee-ja tries her level best to sell the house to no avail, Nam-il makes a trip to the police station. Elsewhere, Dong-jin talks to the potential buyer of the house and promises to pay him back the principal so that he can just drop the claim and not sue Hee-ja. On the other hand, Woo-joo, Hae-sun and Jun go to meet a lawyer about the will but are left a bit confused when he asks them to go down a criminal lawsuit route.
As they wonder what to do now, Woo-joo gets a text from Dong-jin, who asks her to meet him that night. Woo-joo tells them that she will meet Dong-jin that night in hopes of persuading her mother. However, if that doesn’t work, they should file a lawsuit since that would be the right thing to do. The thought leaves the family shocked, but Hae-sung asks her to thank Dong-jin from her.
At Best Fairs, Dong-jin tells Sun-woo everything about his relationship with Woo-joo and drops the bomb that he will leave the company – that with his severance pay and the shares that he owns, he will have enough money to pay back everything his mother’s debts. Meanwhile, Jun finally breaks the ice with Hae-sung and asks her not to be jealous of his relationship with Woo-joo and then (covertly) tells her that he, too, likes her.

As they go home holding hands, Dong-jin meets Woo-joo, and he tells her everything that she had thought of. It’s almost like they can read each other’s minds. Woo-joo is also started by how Dong-jin told her the exact same steps that she had previously thought of. Woo-joo apologises for not simply telling him everything from the first moment, but Dong-jin tells her that it resulted in them meeting in this way and so he doesn’t regret anything.
The next day, Hee-ja gets a surprise visit from Hyun-ju, who, in the classiest way possible, tells her to vacate the house quietly and that she won’t take things to court. She reminds her that she is doing all of this for Dong-jin, who seems to be a good person thanks to not being raised by her. Hee-ja is beside herself with rage but isn’t able to say anything in response to her.
As Hyun-ju is leaving, she comes across Dong-jin, who apologises on behalf of her mother. Dong-jin’s caring attitude seems to have left a rather lasting impact on Hyun-ju. Meanwhile, Hee-ja gets a call from Inspector Jin-ho, thanks to Nam-il.

Hyun-ju makes a surprise visit to her children and tells them not to take any action against Hee-ja. She further tells them that she has told Dong-jin to take the necessary steps to handle the situation. It leaves Woo-joo concerned for him, and she immediately contacts Dong-jin. However, he declines her call since he now has Hee-ja with him in the house.
Dong-jin asks her to go to sleep and says that they would go to the police the next day. Hee-ja explains her decisions to her son, saying that things have become difficult since she has lived a bad life for far too long. Dong-jin assures her that it’s not too late yet, which prompts her to apologise to him. As she leaves, an inconsolable Dong-jin texts Woo-joo about her mother and promises to call her later.
Call It Love Episode 15 Ending
As things wrap up, Dong-jin is invited by Hyun-ju to have a meal together. But first, Dong-jin buys Ji-gu a guitar, and as Woo-joo waits impatiently for him outside the house, she looks enamoured to see Dong-jin walking towards the house with a bouquet of flowers.
Call It Love Episode 15 Review

Although the show keeps stabbing my heart with Dong-jin and Woo-joo’s relationship, at least we got some good news from Hae-sung and Jun!
Either way, what a devastatingly well-done episode; I mean, I was left reeling from the feelings that all of these characters end up with – raw, heartbreaking and heavy, but with the right dose and blend of all of them. With the penultimate episode now over, it’s going to be a difficult goodbye for this emotional show.
Call It Love is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
