Brahmastra Part 2 Dev Early Concept Art Work: It’s Shiva Vs Dev Vs Amrita

As Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva completes one year of its release, the director has shared something big for the fans to celebrate. The mythological fantasy adventure film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt in the leading roles. Today, Ayan shared Brahmastra Part 2 Dev movie’s early concept artwork. The artwork features Dev, Shiva and Amrita. The video will definitely get you excited if you are a fan of the franchise. Fans have been waiting for Part 2 updates for a long time as everyone wants to know who will be playing Dev!

In Brahmastra Part 1, we find out that Dev is Shiva’s father and Amrita is his mother. To save Brahmastra, the most powerful astra (weapon) in the world, Amrita fights Dev. In the movie, Amitabh Bachchan’s Guruji narrates the story to Shiva and to the audience. Amrita dies saving Shiva, and she also succeeds in saving the Brahmastra from Dev in the past. However, despite being a statue in the current timeline, Dev sends Junoon to collect all three parts that will complete the weapon.

At the end of Part 1, we see Shiva defeat Junoon and control the Brahmastra as he was ready to sacrifice his life for his love, Isha. But the biggest tease in the end was about Dev’s character, who comes to life. Ayan Mukerji has refused to reveal who plays Dev. But he shared the concept artwork that looks promising. In the first scene, Dev is riding on a horse and fighting a big evil figure. If Dev has been shown as the bad guy, we wonder who the evil entity is! We also see Shiva attacking Dev with his agni (firepower). In another scene, Amrita, who possesses the Jal astra, is also attacking Dev with her polearm weapon.

In Brahmastra 2, we might expect a story with Shiva Vs Dev Vs Amrita, but in different timelines. The flashback scene in Part 1 teased Deepika Padukone as Amrita, Shiva’s mother. However, neither the actor nor the filmmaker confirmed the news. For Dev, names like Ranveer Singh and Hrithik Roshan were speculated. But fans believe that no one else, but Ranbir will play the antagonist. The concept art doesn’t clearly show Dev’s face, so it’s also hard to make any guesses. Let’s hope we will get some news about who Dev is!
