BODIES BODIES BODIES: First Terrifying Look of A24’s Upcoming Slasher Revealed!

Bodies Bodies Bodies directed by Halina Reijn is the latest potential gem to come out of A24 production company. The upcoming slasher film has a screenplay written by Kristen Roupenian, Sarah Delappe, Chloe Okuno, Joshua Sharp and Aaron Jackson. Even though the plot of this film is kept under wraps, we know that the cast includes Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Myha’la Herrold, Pete Davidson, Lee Pace, Rachel Sennott, Chase Sui Wonders and Conner O’Malley.

The film is going through its hush-hush phase. So, the release of the first look picture of the film has us really engaged. Keeping in mind that the existing slasher films are getting their respective reboots like Scream and Texas Chainsaw Massacre, we can assume that the iconic genre is getting the rightful attention it requires. In the latest picture, we see Maria Bakalova (known popularly for her role in Borat 2) and Rachel Sennott (known for her role in the film Shiva Baby) standing amidst her female co-stars, shell shocked and scared. There is blood splashed on their bodies and, going with the neon-lit necklaces and wrist bands, we think the characters are at a party that does not go according to plan.

A24 is well known for giving the audiences the best pieces in the horror genre starting from The Witch to the latest Midsommar. It is only a matter of time before we find out how this upcoming project of theirs turns out to be.

Bodies Bodies Bodies is set to get a world premiere at the 2022 South by Southwest Film Festival (SXSW) which will be hosted in the month of March.
