Blue Lock Episode 21 Preview: When, Where and How to Watch!

Blue Lock Episode 21 is the twenty-first episode of one of the most popular anime of this year. Blue Lock is a sports anime directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe and Hisashi Toujima and is based on an original manga written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yuusuke Nomura. The series is being animated by Studio 8bit.

The show follows Yoichi Isagi, a talented but unrefined striker who gets the opportunity of a lifetime after being invited to compete for and inside the Blue Lock, where Japan’s most talented football strikers have all been gathered to compete against each other. Yoichi might not be the strongest, fastest, sturdiest, or most technically gifted out of all the candidates gathered, but he still has a skill that helps him keep up with the others.

The first selection process saw the strikers compete against each other in teams of 11, just as a standard football match would be. After learning about each other’s strengths and abilities, Yoichi and his teammates, including Bachira, Chigiri, and Kunigami, cleared the first selection successfully. However, a lot of football is still left to play, and many players are still left to defeat!

Blue Lock Episode 21 Plot

The score is 2-2, and the match has just become even more interesting. It seems like you, me, and everyone was purposefully misled by the show not making use of Nagi that much in the previous episodes, as he is still the same monster that he used to be. Being with Yoichi has only increased his desire to play better football, and he proved that with his goal towards the end of the previous episode. However, he might have poked the bear with that one.

Blue Lock Episode 21 Characters

Itoshi Rin has just seen defeat for the first time since he started competing with people other than his brother, and he is going to make it everybody else’s problem. I have a feeling we haven’t seen him go full strength yet, as he hasn’t needed to to win. The red team is exceptionally strong, especially with the addition of a master dribbler and passer like Bachira. Add a motivated Rin to that, and you have a recipe for disaster for the white team.

Blue Lock Episode 21 Predictions

Itoshi Rin is going to go to the next level and pull out goals and situations that even Yoichi is going to have a hard time comprehending. However, at the same time, team white isn’t one to get left behind and has been known to level up their game when something like this happens.

Blue Lock Episode 20 Recap

The match between the top Three team (and Bachira) and Yoichi, Nagi, Barou, and Chigiri begins as Yoichi gets an early advantage, and his team scores an early goal by utilising their own rivalry and cohesion in a manner even Bachira is surprised by. However, that lead is shortlived as Itoshi Rin demonstrates his superior control of the field and team red scores two goals back to back thanks to Rin’s control and Bachira’s passing. Nagi isn’t to be left behind, however.
