Blue Lock Episode 19 Preview: When, Where and How to Watch!

Blue Lock Episode 19 is the nineteenth episode of one of the most popular anime of this year. Blue Lock is a sports anime directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe and Hisashi Toujima and is based on an original manga written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yuusuke Nomura. The series is being animated by Studio 8bit.

The show follows Yoichi Isagi, a talented but unrefined striker who gets the opportunity of a lifetime after being invited to compete for and inside the Blue Lock, where Japan’s most talented football strikers have all been gathered to compete against each other. Yoichi might not be the strongest, fastest, sturdiest, or most technically gifted out of all the candidates gathered, but he still has a skill that helps him keep up with the others.

The first selection process saw the strikers compete against each other in teams of 11, just as a standard football match would be. After learning about each other’s strengths and abilities, Yoichi and his teammates, including Bachira, Chigiri, and Kunigami, cleared the first selection successfully. However, a lot of football is still left to play, and many players are still left to defeat!

Blue Lock Episode 19 Plot

So many options and not enough of an idea of who to pick. After a gruelling barrel with the trio of Reo, Chigiri, and Kunigami, the victors now have a huge choice to make- which one of these will be the best for their team against Itoshi Rin and Bachira? It is a tough choice, one that we had already tasted when all three of them disagreed on who would be the best pick. That’s the conflict we will try to resolve in this episode.

Blue Lock Episode 19 Characters

This one is about the losers and what they can offer. Reo offers his supreme passing and coordination with Nagi. Chigiri offers his immense speed, and Kunigami is just solid all around with a skill level similar to that of Barou. There is an obvious choice here, as only one person offers something that is already missing from the trio of Yoichi, Nagi, and Bachira, but this show has pulled some decent surprises in the past, so look out for that.

Blue Lock Episode 19 Predictions

Okay, hear me out. It isn’t going to be Kunigami OR Chigiri. Instead, the trio are going to come to a stalemate before Yoichi agrees to take Reo on board to utilise him against the top team. Hey, more surprising things have happened.

Blue Lock Episode 18 Recap

After being mercilessly rebuked by Yoichi, Barou breaks down as he ponders not being the best in the field for once in his life. We look back at his past to see what made him the way he is and discover that he has just always been a jerk. This is apparently enough of a motivation for him to go on a rampage and score the final goal in a way that only he could have, as Nagi, Yoichi, and Barou defeat Kunigami, Reo, and Chigiri.
