Blue Lock Episode 14 Preview: When, Where and How to Watch!

Blue Lock Episode 14 is the fourteenth episode of one of the most popular anime of this year. Blue Lock is a sports anime directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe and Hisashi Toujima and is based on an original manga written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yuusuke Nomura. The series is being animated by Studio 8bit.

The show follows Yoichi Isagi, a talented but unrefined striker who gets the opportunity of a lifetime after being invited to compete for and inside the Blue Lock, where Japan’s most talented football strikers have all been gathered to compete against each other. Yoichi might not be the strongest, fastest, sturdiest, or most technically gifted out of all the candidates gathered, but he still has a skill that helps him keep up with the others.

The first selection process saw the strikers compete against each other in teams of 11, just as a standard football match would be. After learning about each other’s strengths and abilities, Yoichi and his teammates, including Bachira, Chigiri, and Kunigami, cleared the first selection successfully. However, a lot of football is still left to play, and many players are still left to defeat!

Blue Lock Episode 14 Plot

After getting their behinds handed to them and losing in a spectacular way to the top rankers, Yoichi and Nagi have now also lost their friend, Bachira, to their team. However, the selection isn’t over yet, and this was a process designed specifically to make spectacular comebacks possible. It is up to the duo to reconvene with their friends and devise a strategy to clear the selection, which would, by design, involve facing the guys who sent them packing the first time. This is going to be interesting.

Blue Lock Episode 14 Characters

The winning team picking Bachira out of the three to join them was a surprise, but it made a lot of sense based on how that match went. Bachira made both of the goals his team scored possible through his sheer skills, while Nagi and Yoichi both failed to do much with their skills. Now, the teammates that these guys left behind are going to come to play again, as the duo require a third to pass on to the next round. A lot of intrigue rides upon who this character will be.

Blue Lock Episode 14 Predictions

Yuichi and Nagi return to find a third who would help them in a match against the friends they left behind- Chigiri, Kunigami, and Reo. They are going to win and steal Reo to face off against the team that sent them back here in the first place.

Blue Lock Episode 13 Recap

Nagi, Bachira, and Yoichi face off against Itoshi Rin and his team to try and clear the first selection. However, it is clear from the start that they are outmatched in everything but teamwork, as they have bitten off more than they can chew. The two goons are also extremely skilled at the game, and Itoshi Rin is on another level altogether. The trio still gives it their all and manages to come up with a technique to beat the three, but overlook one thing- Yoichi’s predictions aren’t coming true anymore.
