BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s “MONEY” Is Rising On The Singles Charts In The UK

BLACKPINK’s Lisa is reaching new heights with her solo B-side track “MONEY” which is a part of the album titled “LALISA.” This particular track seems to the rising the Official Singles Charts in the United Kingdom. In fact, the song has spread all over social media and is the new trending piece be it Instagram Reels or TikTok videos.

The Official Singles Charts ranks the most popular songs all over the United Kingdom. The Official Singles Chart Top 100 gets weekly updated. According to the new update on October 15, 2021, “MONEY” had ranked no the No.59 for the week of October 15 to October 21. The song had first debuted on the chart last week and was at No. 81. This implies that the song has rapidly jumped 22 steps in a week to reach where it is presently ranked at. The rise is irrespective of the fact that it was only released a month ago, i.e., September 10.

This is a rather historic moment as this is the first time that a female K-pop solo artist has had a song that charted on the Official Singles Chart for two weeks in a row.

The records broken by the title track of the same album “LALISA” is not unknown. In fact, the title track has broken and set 2 Guinness Book of World Records.
