Ever since July month commenced, Indian MCU fans have been wanting to know the Black Widow release date in India. After all, the superhero universe has an enormous fan following in India. If you don’t remember, there were night shows for Avengers: Endgame (2019) because of the high demands for the number of shows. BW is the only standalone movie starring Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff.

If it weren’t for the pandemic, fans would’ve enjoyed Scarlett Johansson starrer in April 2020. But due to lockdown in almost every part of the world, the movie kept postposing multiple times. When Marvel announced July 9 as the theatrical release date, everyone wanted to know what’s Black Widow release date in India. After all, the positive Black Widow reviews and the audience’s spoiler-free reaction to the end-credits scene is making fans impatient.

If you are one of the curious and die-hard MCU fans, we have unfortunate news for you. Scarlett Johansson starrer is not releasing in India anything soon. As per several reports, Delta Plus is the COVID-19 variant of concern in the country currently. Hence, there’s been no full unlock and cinema halls are shut.

In the USA, Marvel Entertainment has released the film on Disney+ with people who have Premier Access. Sadly, the feature is not available for Indian Disney+ subscribers yet. Hence, the Black Widow release date in India is still unknown. It seems like Marvel wants the film to release mainly in theatres. Hence, they are not ready to compromise and avoided releasing the film directly on Disney+ Hotstar.

As per several reports, the Black Widow India release date is expected to be October 8, 2021. The film will release for everyone on Disney+, and that’s when fans can watch the film. If the theatres reopen before October, there are chances that Marvel might consider giving the Phase 4 film a theatrical release in India. But until then, all we have to wait is for some official confirmation.

Along with Scarlett Johansson, the Black Widow cast consists of Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz, David Harbour, OT Fagbenle and Ray Winstone. Directed by Cate Shortland, Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson have written the story. The story is set after the events of Captain America: Civil War (2016).

Among MCU’s Phase 4 projects, three web series are already out – WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Loki. Tom Hiddleston starter Loki’s last episode will be out on Wednesday, July 14 on Disney+ Hotstar. Recently. Marvel unveiled What If…? or What If? Trailer, which will stream on the same digital platform from August 11. The upcoming 2021 MCU films are Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Eternals and Spider-Man: No Way Home. It is unknown if the films will release in India on their assigned release date.
