Netflix is about to release the much-awaited French comedy Bigbug, helmed by Amelie fame director Jean-Pierre Jeunet. It is based on a utopian suburban neighbourhood, Youtube explained it in their description as ‘A group of bickering suburbanites find themselves stuck together when an android uprising causes their well-intentioned household robots to lock them in for their own safety.’
Written and directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, fans are excited about the film and its fascinating theme making them build up their anticipation which will finally get treated by its release on Netflix worldwide. Bigbug Plot/Synopsis
The story of BigBug takes place in the year 2050 and shows a sudden android uprising that led to a group of suburban people being stuck together, while the androids decide to lock them in for their own protection. They try to take over humankind and control them. Starting from disobeying orders, to fighting back. The humans then fear they will be replaced with the androids.
