Back to 15 Trailer: Maisa Silva and Camila Queiroz in a Time Travelling Loop of Adulthood and Adolescence

Netflix’s latest Bazilian series Back to 15 trailer is out now! The glimpse of the upcoming show looks promising and fun, with elements of uncanny time travel. We have Maisa Silva and Camila Queiroz headlining the series. The other cast members include Amanda Azevedo, Lucca Picon, Klara Castanho, Bruno Montaleone, João Guilherme, Gabriel Stauffer and others. The show is going to be about self-discovery and a unique journey.

Looking at the trailer, we can already assume the show is going to be filled with pop culture references starting from the iconic purple door of Monica’s apartment from F.R.I.E.N.D.S to a poster of the French masterpiece Amelie is visible in the trailer. The series feels like a reinvention of iconic romantic comedies from the early 2000s such as 30 going on 13 and Freaky Friday, with a twist of Netflix’s modern comedy delight Russian Doll.

Back to 15 aka De Volta aos 15 is going to centre around a person named Anita, who switches between the age of 30 and 15 as she tries to resolve and understand the problems of her adult and adolescent life, respectively.

The description of the show on Netflix’s YouTube handle reads: “De Volta aos 15 is a funny and exciting Brazilian series that follows Anita’s self-discovery and maturity journey. At 15, played by Maisa, she had a great expectation of adult life: leave the tiny hometown, travel to many places and get to know a lot of people. But at 30, played by Camila Queiroz, her life is nothing like that. After taking refuge in the bedroom where she spent adolescence, like magic, she is propelled to the first day of high school: a 30-years-old head in the body of a 15-years-old teenager!”
