Back to 15: Everything to Know About Netflix’s Upcoming Brazilian Teen Drama

Netflix’s Back to 15 series feels like a reinvention of iconic romantic comedies from the early 2000s such as 30 going on 13 and Freaky Friday, with a twist of Netflix’s modern comedy delight Russian Doll. The show is one of the last releases by the platform for the month of February 2022 and, it looks like we are going to have a wild time keeping up with it. Earlier this month Netflix released Looop Lapeta, which also followed the same line of switching between the future and the past and, it has The Adam Project scheduled for next month with a similar tone. Ahead of its release, let us know everything we need to about the series.

Back to 15 Plot/Synopsis

The description of the show on Netflix’s official YouTube handle reads: “De Volta aos 15 is a funny and exciting Brazilian series that follows Anita’s self-discovery and maturity journey. At 15, played by Maisa, she had a great expectation of adult life: leave the tiny hometown, travel to many places and get to know a lot of people. But at 30, played by Camila, her life is nothing like that. After taking refuge in the bedroom where she spent adolescence, like magic, she is propelled to the first day of high school: a 30-years-old head in the body of a 15-years-old teenager!”
