And Just Like That Season 2 Episode 6 Review: This HBO series is developed by Michael Patrick King. It serves as the revival and a sequel of the old classic Sex and the City which was created by Darren Star, based on Candace Bushnell’s newspaper column and 1996 book anthology of the same name.

The main cast for the show features Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes, Kristin Davis as Charlotte York Goldenblatt, Mario Cantone as Anthony Marentino, David Eigenberg as Steve Brady, Evan Handler as Harry Goldenblatt, Sara Ramirez as Che Diaz and Sarita Choudhury as Seema Patel. Other cast members include Nicole Ari Parker as Lisa Todd Wexley, Karen Pittman as Dr. Nya Wallace, Bobby Lee as Jackie Nee, Chris Jackson as Herbert Wexley, LeRoy McClain as Andre Rashad Wallace, Cathy Ang as Lily Goldenblatt, Alexa Swinton as Rose Goldenblatt, Niall Cunningham as Brady Hobbes, Cree Cicchino as Luisa Torres, Ivan Hernandez as Franklyn and Brenda Vaccaro as Gloria Marquette.

There are going to be some new faces in the second season. We will see John Corbett as Aidan Shaw, and Candice Bergen as Enid Frick alongside Tony Danza, Sam Smith and Victor Garber. The biggest surprise is, of course, the return of Kim Cattrall as Samantha Jones.

And Just Like That Season 2 Episode 6 Review: Bomb Cyclone

The name of this episode of And Just Like That Season 2 is so apt that we are moved. Indeed it is a bombastic episode and nothing less than a cyclone. Gladly we can say that this episode does not undermine the women, at least.

We have Carrie being all tech savvy and moving ahead with her book and interviews concerning it. There is the question of Adian that finally is popped on the screen and turns out the man is divorced. This followed by some other information has Carrie write her ‘Hey Stranger’ email to him but, when the time comes to send the mail, she is in dilemma.

But, the bigger dilemma lies within Miranda’s storyline and, now we feel sorry for her. Both her relationships with Steve and Che turn to dust in this one. It reminds us of how strong and headfast Miranda is as a woman but, at the same time, how sad it is that she finds all these people who really either do not deserve her or take her for granted. At this time, we are neither Team Che nor Team Steve and that, my friends, says a lot.

Meanwhile, Charlotte’s big conundrum in this episode is Lily’s explicit urge to lose her virginity. I mean, why is it even in the script? Why is Lily so blunt about it all? And most importantly, Charlotte’s panic is a little over the top, so what is up with that, right? The old school girl has finally met her match in both her children. Wonderfully, it is Lily and not Rock this time stirring their mother’s feathers.

And Just Like That Season 2 Episode 6: Final Thoughts

And Just Like That Season 2 Episode 6 looks like bait to hook us to the next one. There is nothing major happening in this episode but, the characters are really moving and developing. There is the smell of old Miranda in the air and the promise of Adian in the future and what else do we SATC fans need, right?
