And Just Like That Episode 8: Fans Have Extreme Reactions to Miranda-Steve Fiasco

And Just Like That Episode 8 burst our Che-Miranda bubble and dragged in poor Steve for some really heavy confrontation. The episode loaded us with some dreamy vibes and, some heartbreaking moments alongside the plot of Carrie’s new neighbour and Charlotte having a ‘talk’ with Lily. With a total runtime of 40 minutes, the eighth episode titled “Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered” marks the third last episode of this show which plans to be only 10 episodes long.

Reboot to the iconic Sex and the City series that is based on the bestselling book by Candance Bushnell of the same name and was created by Darren Star, And Just Like That stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis reprising in their previous roles as Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York Goldenblatt, respectively. Other supporting cast members also include Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Sara Ramirez, Karen Pittman and Sarita Choudhury.

In episode 8, Miranda confronts Steve and asks him for a divorce as she is in love with Che. This not only breaks down one of the strongest Sex and the City couple who have gone through everything together and, have already been separated once, the plotline also messes up with fans who have been watching the reboot just out of nostalgia and, not interest. Fans have expressed some extreme reactions to what went down in this particular episode, so let us have a look at it.

We can clearly see that fans are not happy with the recent developments in the reboot. As much as Che is a cool and adored character, it is hard to let Miranda (played by Cynthia Nixon) and Steve (played by David Eigenberg) go. It would be interesting to see how the makers proceed with this inline given there are just two episodes to go. You can read a detailed review of the episode, here.

You can watch And Just Like That Episode 8 now on HBO Max. All the episodes are going to get a weekly release on Thursdays, at 3 am ET. To read the review about the previous episodes of this show, click here.
