And Just Like That Episode 5 Promo: Is Oldage Finally Catching Up With Our Characters?

And Just Like That Episode 5 promo walks on the thin but important sheet of old age finally making its way to our protagonists. Created by Darren Star, And Just Like That is the revival series for Sex and the City that is based on the bestselling book by Candance Bushnell of the same name. It features Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis reprising in their previous roles as Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York Goldenblatt, respectively. This time we also have other prominent roles which are played by Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson, Evan Handler and Sara Ramirez. With weekly episodic releases, three episodes are already out!

And Just Like That Episode 5 Preview

“Tragically Hip” as the episode is titled deals with three of our protagonists differently. We see Carrie go through a hip surgery of sorts and walk with an umbrella doubled up as a cane. We also see Seema call her out on her ‘old people’ behaviour indicating that the friendship between the two has only strengthened since we left them in the last episode. We also see Carrie continue with her podcast through video conferencing, a nod to the ‘work-from-home’ culture.

Charlotte, on the other hand, is also shown in a video conference with the mothers from the school when she realizes she has forgotten a kid from her child’s class. For what, however, we aren’t sure yet.

However, the most interesting part of the And Just Like That Episode 5 promo was the ending when we see Che and Miranda exchange a few lines. These two are going to be the most interesting characters in the show and everyone is waiting to see how things turn out to be between the two. We can, of course, sense some sexual tension already.

And Just Like That Episode 4 is now on HBO Max. The episodes are going to get a weekly release- Thursdays, 3 am ET. To read the review about the previous episodes of And Just Like Thatclick here.
