Inside Edge Season 3 Review Contains No Spoilers
Amazon Prime’s Inside Edge Season 3 starts up where Season 2 left off. Vikrant Dhawan (Vivek Oberoi) and Yashvardhan Patil (Aamir Bashir) are both doing everything they can to avenge each other. One wants to see the other lose power while the other wants to stay in power. The duo isn’t afraid to go to any length or use anyone as a pawn to fulfil their motives.
While Dhawan and Patil play cat and mouse games, everyone around them tries to make the best of the situation. For something big, Zarina Malik (Richa Chadha) must pick between the two. Only after convincing Mantra Patil (Sapna Pabbi) to make false testimony in court does Vayu Raghavan (Tanuj Virwani) become the captain of the Indian Captain team. Akshay Oberoi enters the third season of Inside Edge as Rohit, the captain of team India. He’s taken aback when he learns he’s replaced as the skipper.
With everyone trying to make it big in the world of cricket, there’s some game happening on the ground. There are some deep, dark, and horrible truths hidden that may soon be revealed. As the episodes unfold, we see more and more corruption and greed. Is there going to be a limit on it? What will become of those who choose to engage in this awful power game? Who will make it out unscathed, and who will be found guilty? For the same, you’ll have to watch the complete series.
Inside Edge Season 3’s plot has become more twisted, compelling and intense. Just like a good game of cricket, one has to remain patient to find out who’s actually what and their intentions. The makers didn’t add many new characters this time which has truly worked in their favour.
The latest season reveals that the Amazon series is about more than the Mumbai Mavericks or the PPL. The corruption and greed have gone far and wide, with Patil attempting to interfere in the India-Pakistan match as well. However, just when you think he’s figured it out, Dhawan proves that he’s the smarter one this time. Amid all the current melodrama, the producers have incorporated a few moments from Dhawan and Patil’s past. The aim is to show how two brothers who are onto each other’s lives were once a powerful duo.
The star performers of season 3 are undoubtedly Vivek Oberoi and Aamir Bashir. Both are similar with their lust for greed and power, yet they’re different in approach. The actors have left a great impression yet again with their performance. You know both are wrong, and yet you find yourself rooting for both to win. Actor Tanuj Virwani is incredible, like his character Vayu Raghavan is as the Mumbai Mavericks and Indian cricket team captain. Richa Chadha, Akshay Oberoi, Sayani Gupta, and Sapna Pabbi have played their parts well.
